This is Coach Gator‘s third year as the Head Coach of the Sea Lions. She is also the Head Coach of Level One at Greater Columbus Swim Team of Ohio, where she has coached for over 11 years. Gator is the Assistant Coach for the High School team at Columbus Academy. Coach Gator swims Masters and loves to compete herself. She always tells her swimmers, “I will not ask you to do anything that I do not do myself.”
Coach Gator attended Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in sociology/psychology.

Coach Jill (pictured on the right) has coached the Gahanna Sea Lions Dive Team since 2001. Jill grew up swimming and diving for the Sea Lions and continued her diving career through high school and college. Jill competed for Bowling Green State University for 4 years before graduating in 2009 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Jill currently teaches at Worthington Christian High School as an Intervention Specialist. She also coaches the Gahanna Lincoln High School Team, along with a number of other high school divers in the area. In addition, Jill coaches with the lesson program at the Ohio State Diving Club.
This is Lauren's third season coaching our youngest group of junior swimmers (2015, 2016, and 2019!). She grew up around the pool, and spent several of her childhood summers swimming as a Sea Lion. Lauren also teaches at the Greater Columbus Swim School, where she has been an instructor since 2011. This summer, she graduated from Ohio Northern University with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Medical Humanities minor.
David Jacques has been a member of the Gahanna Sea Lions for the past 13 years as a swimmer and diver. As a high school swimmer, Coach David was a four-year district qualifier, and he also participated in the state diving championships in his sophomore year. He is currently a freshman at Ohio Wesleyan University studying International Law and History. He is also a member of the varsity swim team at OWU.
This is Stephen's third year assisting with the Sea Lions Dive Team. Stephen grew up diving at the Olympic Swim & Racquet Club until its closure in 2015. He then joined the Sea Lions and competed for 3 years, while helping coach 2 of those years.
Stephen is a graduate of St. Charles Preparatory where he was on the swim and dive team all 4 years. During his junior year, Stephen became the first Cardinal diver to qualify for the State Dive Meet, where he finished in 20th place. Stephen just finished his freshman year at The Ohio State University and is majoring in Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife.
